Permatex Thread Locker, Red, High Strength, 6 ml Tube, Each

Red threadlocker is well-suited for permanently locking studs and press fits. Threadlocker RED adds 3,000 PSI holding power on slip and press fit assemblies, and replaces set screws and snap rings. Permatex’s Threadlocker Red locks against vibration loosening. May require heat or special tools for removal.

 

DIRECTIONS: 1. Clean and dry parts using Permatex Surface Prep® activator, Item# 24163 2. Shake tube of
High Strength Threadlocker well before each use. 3. Remove cap and snip nozzle tip. 4. Apply to threaded
areas and assemble parts. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information.
NOTE: Threadlocker works on metal parts. It is not recommended for plastics. Cured product must be heated
to 500°F (260°C) before parts will separate.
