***Our 1pc oil pan gaskets can be installed as a single one piece that includes the rear seal area. Sometimes this seal area will separate from the metal due to the thinness of the rubber in the corner. Some installers actually prefer to sever this area so the main gasket can be installed and the rear can be fit to size and sealed with RTV in the corners where the block, rear main cap, and oil pan seams meet.***
